15DEC2019 – DAY 2: THE LOST DAY

This day does not exist! It was lost somewhere between LAX and AKL over the Pacific Ocean. This flight was 12 hours long, twice as long as the longest flight I had ever been on before and it was seemingly never-ending. This flight was one of the most miserable experiences of the entire trip, second only to the return flight back across the Pacific at the end of the trip.
